BREAKING: Justice pushes forward on new Apple iPhone challenge linked to a Brooklyn drug conspiracy

  The Justice Department announced Friday it is moving forward on a separate legal front to force Apple Inc.'s assistance to unlock the iPhone linked to a Brooklyn drug conspiracy. In a one-page letter filed in a New York federal court, Justice lawyers said the government "continues to require Apple's assistance in accessing the data" contained on the phone of a convicted methamphetamine trafficker.
