Polls in most of Indiana close at 6 p.m. ET, except for 11 counties in the western part of the state that are in the central time zone. Donald Trump is hoping to take all or most of the state's 57 delegates, which would drastically dim Ted Cruz's chances of stopping him from locking up the GOP nomination ahead of the convention. Bernie Sanders is hoping for a symbolic win in Indiana to give him a boost in the final Democratic contests, even as the nomination increasingly appears to be mathematically out of reach for the Vermont senator.
