BREAKING: At least 8 dead in apparent terror attack in Munich; up to 3 gunmen on the loose

  Police declared an "acute terrorist situation" Friday in Munich and shut down traffic and rail service in the southern German city to search for as many as three gunmen who went on a shooting rampage at a shopping mall, killing at least eight people, police said. In a statement, the White House strongly condemned the "apparent terrorist attack" and pledged the U.S. will work closely with its German partners to provide any assistance that's needed in the investigation.
