BREAKING: Cameron to resign by Wednesday, clearing the way for Theresa May to become U.K. prime minister, BBC reports

  Prime Minister David Cameron, who announced he planned to resign after the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in a referendum on June 23, will officially step down Wednesday, the BBC and Associated Press report. Home Secretary Theresa May is in line to succeed Cameron.
