  History was made Thursday night in Philadelphia, the final night of the Democratic National Convention. Eight years after losing a Democratic primary race to Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton - the former first lady, U.S. senator from New York and secretary of State - formally accepted the party's nomination to be president.
