| | Officers in Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Missouri were shot in separate incidents following this week's killings of two black men at the hands of police. In the most recent incident, an officer came under fire responding to a 911 call in Valdosta, Ga. Earlier Friday, an officer was shot three times during a traffic stop in Ballwin, Mo. The third incident happened early Thursday when a man killed a driver and wounded three others, including a police officer, on a Tennessee parkway. The bloodiest attack left five officers dead in an ambush during a protest against police brutality in Dallas.
