BREAKING: Reports: Shimon Peres, former president of Israel who fought in country's war for independence, dies

Peres, 93, won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994 for his role in crafting the Oslo Accords, an agreement that called for a Palestinian state at peace with Israel.
