BREAKING: Senate overwhelmingly votes to override Obama veto on 9/11 bill

  The Senate voted Wednesday to overturn President Obama's veto of legislation allowing survivors and family members of victims to sue Saudi Arabia over the 2001 terror attacks in New York and Washington. The House is expected to follow suit this week, making this the first veto of Obama's presidency that has been overridden by Congress. The president has argued that allowing suits against other nations in U.S. courts could harm American foreign policy and set a precedent for foreign suits against the U.S.
