When they were introduced at Washington University in St. Louis, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump walked to the center of the stage but didn't shake hands. The mood was icy and fierce. She called him a misogynist, and he called her a liar. The combative spectacle was launched even before the second debate, when Trump convened a photo-op featuring four women who have accused former president Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct in cases dating as far back as his days as Arkansas governor. The brazen move was in response to Friday's release of a recording from 2005 in which Trump is heard graphically discussing groping women, resulting in an expanding list of Republicans calling for him to exit the presidential race. Clinton said during Sunday night's debate that the video shows Trump is "not fit to be president and commander in chief."
