BREAKING: Stocks cut losses, end slightly lower on jobs report miss

  The economy created an OK but weaker-than-expected 156,000 jobs in September. The jobs report, Wall Street pros say, did little to change the market's outlook for the economy, nor did it change the view that the Federal Reserve is on track to hike interest rates in December for the first time this year.
