BREAKING: Death toll rises to 24 in Oakland warehouse fire, officials say

  The remains of 24 victims have been retrieved in the fire that broke out late Friday night in a warehouse and artists collective, said Sgt. Ray Kelly of the Alameda County Sheriff's Department. Kelly said the number was expected to rise as officials comb through rubble, a process that was expected to take several days.
