BREAKING: Georgia Democrat falls short of winning the state's sixth congressional district outright, reports say

  Democrat Jon Ossoff dropped below the 50% threshold to win Georgia's sixth congressional district outright, CNN and The Associated Press reported. The race, considered as a main electoral battle between Democratic and Republican parties since President Trump took office, was widely touted as a rebuke to Trump's politics. Ossoff will now face Republican Karen Handel in a June 20 runoff in a district that has been solidly Republican for almost four decades.
