BREAKING: United Airlines is 'clarifying' that flight where man was dragged off was not overbooked

  United spokesman Jonathan Guerin tells USA TODAY that the flight was not completely sold out. Instead, United and regional affiliate Republic Airlines, which operated Flight 3411, concluded they needed to remove four passengers to accommodate crewmembers needed in Louisville the next day. The airline initially said the situation resulted from an overbooked flight.
