BREAKING: Category 5 Maria heading for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands after pounding Dominica: What we know now

  Hurricane Maria is on a track to hit the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico Tuesday night and Wednesday, the National Hurricane Center said. At 8 a.m. ET, the storm was located 85 miles west of Guadeloupe, moving west-northwest at about 9 mph with sustained winds of 160 mph. Late Monday, Maria ravaged the Caribbean island of Dominica, with the nation's prime minister reporting "widespread devastation."
