A chimpanzee escaped from a zoo in Kharkiv on Monday. The primate was seen leisurely roaming around the city's central Svobody Square. Thanks in part to the intervention of rain, a keeper was eventually able to recapture the chimp and return it to the facility - but it took some time. After at least one failed manoeuvre, an ape evidently not enthralled by the prospect of a drenching was enticed into donning the keeper's jacket - and engaging in a hug that proved its downfall. The pair returned to the zoo on a bicycle.
