BREAKING: Analysis: An 'avalanche of insults' was just one of several heated exchanges in a surprisingly combative vice presidential debate

  Democrat Tim Kaine and Republican Mike Pence spent a lot of time discussing the Republican nominee Donald Trump during Tuesday night's vice presidential debate. Kaine spent his time denouncing Trump's general fitness for the Oval Office while Pence was busy trying to reassure Republicans who are anxious about their presidential nominee. At one point Pence decried what he called an "avalanche of insults" from the Democratic campaign. Kaine replied, "I'm just saying facts about your running mate."
