BREAKING: Evacuations ordered for some S.C. coastal communities ahead of Hurricane Matthew

  South Carolina coastal communities will be evacuated at least 100 miles inland Wednesday, Gov. Nikki Haley announced. The evacuations are the first in the continental U.S. ahead of the storm. Both Florida and North Carolina have declared a state of emergency.
